SOKOTO REGIONAL MANAGER VISITS NSCDC COMMANDANT SEEKS COLLABORATION. By Umar Muhammad Tambuwal, Sokoto Region. Kaduna Electric Regional Manager, Sokoto region, Mr Salisu Malami Shanono, has called on the Nigeria Security Civil Defense Corp, NSCDC, Sokoto State Command to support the Company's effort in ensuring steady power supply in the state. Mr. Shanono made the appeal while on a courtesy visit, alongside the Regional Management team to the Commandant, Nigeria Security Civil Defense Corp, Sokoto State Command, E A Ajayi. The Regional Manager stated that, power is critical for national growth and the major challenges facing Kaduna Electric is vandalization of the company's equipment and installations energy theft, meter bypass among others "The cases of vandalism are affecting the quality and reliability of power supply to the customers.
