Kaduna Electric Commended for Lifesaving Blood Donation to Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital

Kaduna Electric has received
high praise from Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital for its recent contribution
to a blood donation drive that is already saving lives across Kaduna State.
In a letter of appreciation
signed on behalf of the hospital’s Management, the Medical Director and the
Head of Laboratory Department lauded the company’s selfless gesture, calling it
“deeply inspiring” and impactful.
“Your willingness to support
this life-saving initiative is not only commendable but also deeply inspiring,”
the hospital stated in its letter to Kaduna Electric.
The blood donated by Kaduna
Electric staff has already been used to assist patients in critical need,
including accident victims, surgical patients, and individuals battling
life-threatening illnesses.
“The donated blood has already
gone a long way in helping patients in critical need,” the letter read, adding
that the company’s action is “truly making a difference in saving lives and
restoring hope to families in distress.”
The hospital further praised the
unity and compassion demonstrated by the company’s staff during the drive.
“Acts of kindness such as this
reinforce the importance of community support and serve as a reminder that
together, we can overcome even the most daunting challenges,” the statement
noted.
The hospital urged Kaduna
Electric to extend the message of appreciation to every member of its team who
participated, expressing hope for future collaboration on humanitarian
initiatives.
With Kaduna Electric’s example,
Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital believes more organizations will be inspired
to step forward in similar ways, strengthening community health support and
saving even more lives.
Kaduna Electric Pays Condolence Visit to Gusau Emirate
Council Over the Passing of the Emir of Katsinan Gusau

In a formal condolence visit to
the Gusau Emirate Council, the MD/CEO was ably represented by the Zamfara
Regional Manager, Mallam Gaddafi Ibrahim Saminaka, who conveyed the heartfelt
sympathies of the Company’s Board of Directors, Management, and entire staff.
The Kaduna Electric delegation
was warmly received by the Ciroman Gusau and District Head of Danbaba, Alhaji
Mainasara Bello a prominent member of the Emirate Council and close relative of
the late monarch, who stood in on behalf of the royal household during this
period of mourning.
Delivering the message of
condolence, Mallam Gaddafi described the late Emir as a beacon of wisdom and an
exemplary traditional leader whose life was dedicated to public service,
community development, and the promotion of peace and harmony.
“The late Emir was more than a royal figure he was a father to all, a bridge builder, and a tireless promoter of progress and unity. His passing has left a great void not only in the Emirate but across Zamfara State and the wider northern region,” he said.
“On behalf of our MD/CEO, Dr. Umar Abubakar
Hashidu, and the entire Kaduna Electric family, we pray that Almighty Allah
(SWT) grants him forgiveness, accepts his good deeds, and admits him into the
highest ranks of Aljannatul Firdaus,” he added.
Mallam Gaddafi also reiterated
the Company’s unwavering respect and support for traditional institutions,
describing them as critical stakeholders in the advancement of social harmony,
cultural preservation, and development. He noted that the late Emir had always
demonstrated visionary leadership and maintained cordial relations with the Company
and other corporate organizations operating in the state.
In his remarks, the Ciroman
Gusau, Alhaji Mainasara Bello, expressed sincere appreciation to Kaduna
Electric for the visit and the show of solidarity during their time of grief.
He acknowledged the longstanding relationship between the Emirate and the Kaduna
Electric, stating that such gestures strengthen community ties and build trust
between institutions and the people.
“We are deeply touched by this
show of empathy. The visit by Kaduna Electric is not just a condolence but a
reaffirmation of shared values and mutual respect. His Royal Highness valued
cooperation with development partners, and your presence here today is a
testament to that enduring relationship,” he said.
The visit ended with a solemn
prayer for the repose of the soul of the late Emir and the formal signing of
the condolence register by members of the Kaduna Electric delegation.
Regional Manager Sokoto Commends Top 4 Area Offices For June
Collection Outstanding Performance

Mr. Ashimi, who gave the
commendation during an enlarged family meeting with the sales representatives
of Sokoto Region, stated that the aim of the meeting was to appreciate their
hard work and recognize their remarkable achievement.
He encouraged the staff to
continue putting in their best to further improve collections, noting that
Sokoto Region’s ATC&C losses reduced to 10% last month which is a
significant milestone.
Ashimi charged the staff to
intensify efforts in capturing more customers into the Company’s database in
order to boost revenue and further reduce ATC&C losses.
He also advised them on
improving customer relations and commended the staff of Sokoto North Area
Office for their exceptional community engagement, which helped them rise to
the 1st position in the Company-wide ranking. He urged other area offices to
emulate their efforts. Notably, Sokoto North Area Office moved from 20th
position to 1st position in the latest Company-wide ranking.
The Regional Manager emphasized
that billing efficiency is critical to achieving collection targets and urged
the team to “clean their data,” warning that indiscipline will not be
tolerated.
He further encouraged the sales
representatives to always abide by company policies, adding that he is proud of
his team’s success and wants them to sustain the momentum.
“I am planning to reward the
most outstanding sales representatives of Sokoto Region, and I warn you all to
distance yourselves from any form of illegality and fraudulent acts,” Ashimi
said.
