Sokoto Regional Manager Seeks Collaboration with Sokoto Police Command.

The Kaduna Electric Sokoto Regional Manager, Mr. Salisu Shanono Malami, has paid a familiarization visit to the Sokoto State Police Command to foster a robust partnership for enhanced service delivery and community safety.
The visit to the Police Command Headquarters in Sokoto served as a formal introduction for Mr. Malami and provided a platform to discuss areas of mutual interest and collaboration between Kaduna Electric and the police force.
During the meeting, Mr. Malami emphasized the critical role of a secure and cooperative environment in the effective discharge of Kaduna Electric's duties.
He highlighted key areas where police support is essential, including protecting critical power infrastructure from vandalism and theft, ensuring the safety of technical staff, especially those working in remote areas and managing community relations during service disruptions and revenue collection activities.
"Security is the bedrock of sustainable electricity distribution. The safety of our personnel and the integrity of our assets are paramount to providing uninterrupted power to the good people of Sokoto State.
"We are here today to formally introduce ourselves and to seek the continued support and collaboration of the Sokoto Command of the Nigeria Police Force. We believe that with your partnership, we can overcome challenges related to energy theft, infrastructure vandalism, and other security concerns that hinder our service delivery," he said.
In his response, the Commissioner of Police, Sokoto State Command, CP Ahmed Musa, assured the Regional Manager of the Command's unwavering commitment to providing a secure environment for all residents and businesses in the state, including Kaduna Electric.
The Commissioner acknowledged the importance of reliable electricity to socio-economic activities and the security architecture of the state. He pledged the Command's readiness to work closely with Kaduna Electric, promising prompt response to security concerns and increased patrols around vulnerable electricity installations.
"This collaboration is a welcome development. We recognize that your work is essential, and we are prepared to offer the necessary support to ensure you succeed. A secure environment benefits everyone, and we are partners in progress for the development of Sokoto State," the Commissioner affirmed.The meeting concluded on a high note, with both parties agreeing to establish direct communication channels for swift intervention on security matters affecting the power sector in the region.
Kaduna Electric Conducts Leadership Training for Zamfara Management Staff.

The Regional Manager, Zamfara Regional Office, Mr. Muazu Aliyu, has emphasized the importance of management and leadership skills as vital tools for driving organizational success and enhancing team performance.
He stated this during a leadership and capacity-building training organized for management staff of Zamfara Regional office at the company’s corporate office in Gusau, Zamfara State.
Mr. Aliyu explained that the training was designed to develop leadership competence, enhance communication, strengthen decision-making, and promote teamwork among management staff. He added that such initiatives are key to improving professional capacity and service delivery.
He reiterated the company’s commitment to continuous learning as a pathway to achieving corporate goals.
“At Kaduna Electric, we believe that investing in our people is investing in our success. This training will help our staff take greater ownership of their roles and contribute more effectively to the company’s vision,” he said.
Mr. Aliyu further noted that the organization requires leaders who can tackle challenges creatively, utilize available resources efficiently, and serve as exemplary role models to their subordinates. He urged participants to motivate their teams and uphold the company’s image through professionalism and excellent customer service.

Speaking on behalf of the participants, the Regional Technical Officer, Engr. Yusuf Yahaya, expressed appreciation to the company’s management for the opportunity, describing the training as both timely and impactful. He pledged that participants would put the lessons learned into practice to enhance operational performance across the region.
Mr. Aliyu concluded by reaffirming Kaduna Electric’s commitment to human capital development through regular training and mentorship programs aimed at building a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
Kaduna Electric Strengthens Partnership with DSS to Safeguard Power Infrastructure.

The Zamfara Regional Manager of Kaduna Electric, Mr. Muazu Aliyu, has called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to intensify efforts to address security threats that could disrupt electricity supply and protect the company’s critical power infrastructure across the state.
Mr. Aliyu made the appeal during a courtesy visit by the Kaduna Electric management team to the State Director of the DSS, Mr. Nafiu Tukur Bello, at the agency’s command office in Gusau.
He explained that the visit aimed to strengthen the existing collaboration between the two organizations, in line with Kaduna Electric's objectives to enhance operational safety and ensure a stable power supply. According to Mr. Aliyu, the DSS plays a vital role in safeguarding the power sector by preventing vandalism, sabotage, and other illegal activities that undermine electricity distribution and national development.
He however appealed to the DSS to lead by example in settling its outstanding electricity bills with Kaduna Electric. He noted that prompt payment by government institutions would strengthen the company’s financial position and improve its capacity to maintain and enhance the power supply across the state.
Commending the DSS for its unwavering commitment to national security, Mr. Aliyu thanked the agency for its continued support, particularly in intelligence sharing and rapid response to emerging threats. He reaffirmed the company’s dedication to providing reliable electricity in Zamfara and pledged continued collaboration with all security agencies to maintain a safe operational environment.In his response, the State Director of the DSS, Mr. Nafiu Tukur Bello, commended Kaduna Electric for its proactive engagement and commitment to partnership. He assured the company of the DSS's continued support in safeguarding its power infrastructure, personnel, and installations.
Mr. Bello
pledged to work closely with Kaduna Electric and other stakeholders to identify
and neutralize potential threats to the electricity supply. He further assured
that the DSS would review the matter of outstanding electricity bills and take
appropriate steps to address it.
He however, reaffirmed the agency’s readiness to support Kaduna Electric, stressing that a stable power supply is vital to national security and socio-economic development.
NAF Commends Kaduna Electric for Supporting Operational Readiness.

The Commandant of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) 307 Quick Response Group, Gusau, Zamfara State, Group Captain K.O. Akinyosade, has commended Kaduna Electric for its consistent support toward enhancing the operational readiness of the Force in the state.
Group Captain Akinyosade gave the commendation when he received the management team of Kaduna Electric on a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters in Gusau.
He described Kaduna Electric as one of the Force’s vital partners in promoting national security, noting that a reliable power supply is essential to maintaining NAF’s operational capabilities, logistics, and communication systems.
The Commandant appealed to the company to continue ensuring stable and adequate power supply to the Air Force base, stressing that electricity is critical to the effective operation of its helicopters, equipment, and other mission-support facilities.
He also pledged to continue extending maximum support to Kaduna Electric to enable the company sustain its commitment to providing efficient and reliable electricity services across Zamfara State.
In his remarks earlier, the Zamfara Regional Manager of Kaduna Electric, Mr. Muazu Aliyu, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting all security agencies in maintaining peace and stability within its franchise areas.
Mr. Aliyu noted that Kaduna Electric recognizes the strategic role of the Nigerian Air Force and other security institutions in safeguarding lives, property, and critical power infrastructure.
He assured that the company would continue to work closely with the Air Force and other security bodies to ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical installations in Zamfara State.
Mr. Aliyu added that Kaduna Electric remains committed to doing everything necessary to support the smooth operations of the Air Force Command, given the importance of security personnel to national stability and development.
He also
commended the Command for its cooperation, noting that such collaboration has
helped the company achieve its operational and service delivery goals. He
pledged that Kaduna Electric will continue to give maximum support to the Air
Force and other security formations across the state.
Kaduna Electric Intensifies Campaign Against Vandalism, Energy Thefts.

The Zamfara Regional Manager of Kaduna Electric, Mr. Muaazu Aliyu, has reiterated the company’s commitment in tackling vandalism, energy theft, meter bypassing and illegal activities that continue to undermine electricity efficiency and reliability.
Mr. Aliyu made this known during Customer Engagement Session held in Gusau, Zamfara State, where customers and key stakeholders gathered to strengthen relationships, discuss operational challenges, and explore strategies to enhance service delivery.
Represented by Malam Muhammad Ibrahim, the Area Manager, Zamfara Central, Mr. Aliyu emphasized the importance of collaboration between the company and its customers in addressing challenges affecting power supply.
“At Kaduna Electric, we value our customers as key partners in progress. This meeting is part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen our relationship with stakeholders and jointly find solutions that will enhance power supply and customer satisfaction,” Mr. Aliyu stated.
He explained that vandalism, energy theft, and meter bypassing is not only disrupt power supply but also increase operational costs and reduce service reliability. He noted that these acts are often driven by financial motives, system inefficiencies.
The Regional Manager further stressed that Kaduna Electric is determined to curb these acts through community engagement and collaboration with relevant authorities.
Mr. Aliyu commended the efforts of security personnel for their continued support in protecting the company’s facilities and ensuring safety across various communities. and called for strong collaboration and support from security agencies to combat vandalism and energy theft.He further
appealed to community leaders, customers, and other relevant stakeholders to
join hands with the company in safeguarding electricity infrastructure and
promoting responsible energy use.
Participants at the meeting commended Kaduna Electric for creating an avenue for open communication and urged continued collaboration to address power-related challenges in the region.
