Positive Attitude Drives Organizational Excellence – RM Zamfara

The Regional Manager, Mr. Muazu Aliyu has emphasized the importance of a positive attitude in driving productivity, professionalism, and overall organizational success.

 He made this known during a capacity-building training session attended by Service Centre Managers and other management staff in Gusau, Zamfara State.

 He noted that attitude plays a critical role in how employees perform their duties and contribute to organizational growth.

 According to him, maintaining a positive and professional mindset is essential for achieving efficiency and delivering quality service.

 Mr. Aliyu clarified that attitude should not be misunderstood as arrogance or hostility, but rather as a professional disposition that shapes decision-making, teamwork, and customer relations. He stated that fostering the right attitude among staff would enhance operational effectiveness and promote a conducive working environment.

 He further explained that employees who demonstrate a positive mindset are more productive, proactive, and better equipped to handle workplace challenges. He added that such an attitude strengthens resilience and ensures sustained focus and commitment, even in demanding situations.

In his contributions, the Regional Technical Manager, Engr. Yusuf Yahaya described the training as a valuable platform for promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement, emphasizing the need for staff to align their conduct with the organization’s goals and standards.

Mr. Aliyu reiterated that the initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to capacity building and improved performance and urged employees to continuously develop constructive attitudes through training, self-reflection, and strict adherence to professional and organizational standards.

 

Electricity Key to Water Production, Industrial Growth – Zamfara Water Association Chairman

The Chairman of the Zamfara State Water Association Production, Malam Murtala Ibrahim, has underscored the critical importance of electricity in driving water production and overall industrial growth. He noted that a stable and reliable power supply remains fundamental to operational efficiency within the water production sector.

 Malam Murtala made this known during a courtesy visit to the Kaduna Electric Zamfara Regional Office in Gusau. He described electricity as the cornerstone of industrial activities, emphasizing its role in powering every stage of the water production process from purification to packaging.

He further highlighted that a dependable energy supply is essential for process automation, adherence to water safety standards, and effective management of production output.

According to him, the engagement was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the water sector and the electricity provider, particularly in addressing persistent power supply challenges affecting operations across Zamfara State.

The Chairman added that improved electricity supply would significantly enhance operational efficiency, reduce production costs, and increase access to clean and safe water, noting that stable power would contribute to job creation and stimulate broader economic development within the state.

Malam Murtala appealed to the management of Kaduna Electric to prioritize improved electricity supply to water production facilities, stressing that modern manufacturing and industrial services cannot function optimally without reliable power, thereby limiting economic progress.

In his response, the Zamfara Regional Manager, Mr. Muazu Aliyu reaffirmed the company’s commitment to improving electricity supply across the region. He stated that reliable power enables industries to operate efficiently, thereby boosting productivity and strengthening supply chains.

 He, however, identified key challenges affecting power delivery, including outstanding customer debts, low payment compliance, and illegal connections, emphasizing that addressing these issues is critical to achieving sustainable and improved electricity supply.

 Mr. Aliyu concluded by expressing the company’s readiness to collaborate with stakeholders in developing sustainable energy solutions that will support water production and drive socio-economic development in Zamfara State.
